Cross Walk

Due to the forecasted rainy and cold weather on Thursday, St. Malachy is moving the Cross Walk to tomorrow, April 16.  We will begin at 12:45 pm in the courtyard.

Please send your child in a white shirt for our cross picture following the walk.

Late start

St. Malachy School will have a 2-hour late start on Monday, February 25. No AM PK

Solo and Ensemble Contest

Due to forecasted weather, the Creston Solo and Ensemble contest has been moved to March 2.

St. Malachy Foundation Gala and Auction

March 2, 2019

Tickets are $35 each

Join us for a fun evening supporting St. Malachy School. Cocktail hour starts at 5 p.m. followed by a Prime Rib and Chicken Dinner at 6 p.m. Live and Silent Auctions at 7 p.m. We will also have special music guest Dustin Baird playing that evening as well. Tickets will be available at St. Malachy School starting in February.

St. Malachy School has made proud supporter window clings for businesses in and around our community.  If you would be interested in displaying a window cling in your window please contact Mrs. Simmons jsimmons@crestonstmalachy.org.  We currently have clings that are 8.5×11, if you would be interested in a smaller cling (5×7) please let us know.

Catholic Youth Camp registration is open.  CYC 2019 dates are available on our website: stmcenter.com CYC is for students entering 3rd grade through high school graduation and is located in Panora, IA. Sponsorships are available!

We are starting to see some illnesses go through our school.  Please remember a child must remain at home until at least 24 hours after they are free of fever, diarrhea, vomiting, severe cough/cold, or signs of a fever without the use of a fever-reducing medication.

ISSB Acts of Kindness

Our 3rd-5th grade students are earning “acts of kindness” this week to help raise money for the Creston Food Pantry.   ISSB will donate $10 for every act of kindness turned in to their teacher. Has your child shown an act of kindness?  Send a note to their teacher and let them know.  We will wrap this up on Friday, February 15.
