Homecoming – Friday, September 28
We finally figured out where we are in the parade lineup. We are located in spot 21 on the corner of Prairie and Sycamore Street, near the High School. Thayne Glynn will be driving us, so look for a white truck with a black trailer hitched on the back. We would like to have the kids there by 1:45 at the latest.
After the parade, we will be parked at Holy Spirit Church. This is where can pick up your child(ren). If you have any questions or concerns, please call my cell phone at 641-745-5138. I will have my phone on me before, during, and after the parade if you need to get ahold of your child.
Thanks!! Brea Steinkamp
October is National Bullying Prevention Month
St Malachy PTO presents guest speaker, Bobby Jones. http://www.bobbyjonesspeaks.com/
Bobby speaks to thousands of youth around the country, “I educate about the decisions we make and their impact on the future. Using my story, I get to inspire and empower them to take a different road. Their focus becomes their dreams — and the things they can do NOW to secure a life of purpose, instead of pain.”
Bad decisions are one choice away.
Our goal is to encourage the community to work together to stop bullying and cyberbullying by increasing awareness of the impact of bullying on all children of all ages.
Monday October 2nd is BLUE SHIRT day: World Day of Bully Prevention!
Elementary presentation at 8:30am: Middle school to follow. Parents/Family welcome!!
Let’s all wear our BLUE shirts to help put an end to Bullying!
