St. Malachy students and alumni who are 14 years old can now take the written part of the Iowa Driver’s Test at St. Malachy during study hall! Once the student passes the exam they will need to go to the courthouse with a parent to pay for the learner’s permit and take their ID picture.

October 3 – Rosary 8:50 – 8th Grade

Spirit Day is Friday, Sept 21 – Students may wear sweatpants for $1. Money collected goes into a school “pay-it-forward” fund that helps others in our community in the time of illness or death. This first spirit day is: show your pride for Iowa or Iowa State!!!

This is our 3rd Annual Creston Color Run! Join us in some fun running or walking as we throw color at you and your friends and family!
We have a 5K or a 1.4 mile Fun Run to choose from. A T-shirt will also be given, but get registered soon, to be guaranteed a shirt, you must register by Monday, Sept 10th!

Will You Read With Me?
Caring adult volunteers are needed to read with St. Malachy 1st graders on a weekly basis.
To participate in READS, you need:
A desire to read with 1st grade students.
A background check.
A 50 minute training-available in October.
Afternoon reading times are available Monday through Friday. READS starts the week of November 5.
