ISSB Acts of Kindness

Our 3rd-5th grade students are earning “acts of kindness” this week to help raise money for the Creston Food Pantry.   ISSB will donate $10 for every act of kindness turned in to their teacher. Has your child shown an act of kindness?  Send a note to their teacher and let them know.  We will wrap this up on Friday, February 15.

Dear St. Malachy Supporter and Business Owners,

St. Malachy School has made proud supporter window clings for businesses in and around our community.  If you would be interested in displaying a window cling in your window please contact Mrs. Simmons jsimmons@crestonstmalachy.org.  We currently have clings that are 8.5×11, if you would be interested in a smaller cling (5×7) please let us know.

Catholic Youth Camp registration is open.  CYC 2019 dates are available on our website: stmcenter.com CYC is for students entering 3rd grade through high school graduation and is located in Panora, IA. Sponsorships are available!

We are starting to see some illnesses go through our school.  Please remember a child must remain at home until at least 24 hours after they are free of fever, diarrhea, vomiting, severe cough/cold, or signs of a fever without the use of a fever-reducing medication.

Spirit Day is February 22nd – Students may wear sweatpants for $1.  Money collected goes into a school “pay-it-forward” fund that helps others in our community in the time of illness or death.

Use SCRIP for everyday items!

 Wishing you a Blessed Weekend,
