St. Malachy had a busy day today!  This morning we celebrated the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Following Mass our middle school students spent today immersed in Coding and STEM (Science, technology, engineering & Mathematics) activities.  Check out our slide show on Facebook.  This afternoon our Advent Angels gathered to make stockings for Jesus.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Stoner and the St. Malachy students.  It was a beautiful concert.  Thank you to all who were able to attend.  We collected $631.40 for the Creston Food Pantry.

Seeking Spirit of St. Malachy Nominations.

St. Malachy School is seeking nominations for the Spirit of St. Malachy award.  This award goes to someone who demonstrates a passion of service for the St. Malachy community.  Do you know of someone or a group of people who exemplify this trait?  Please nominate them by contacting Father Halbur or Jennifer Simmons.


In the spirit of the Advent season, St. Malachy School will be collecting
personal care items to donate to the Creston Area Food Pantry. The food
pantry relies entirely on donations. These items will help local residents in
In order to provide a variety of items, we are asking each grade to
contribute certain goods.
● Preschool-baby wipes
● Kindergarten-body wash
● 1st Grade-liquid laundry detergent
● 2nd Grade-liquid dish soap
● 3rd Grade-deodorant and bar soap
● 4th Grade-shaving cream and Q-tips
● 5th Grade-shampoo and conditioner
● 6th Grade-diapers and toothpaste/toothbrushes
● 7th Grade-paper towels
● 8th Grade-toilet paper
Collection of items begins now and continues through Friday, December
