Fire Prevention Week

October 9-13

Our local firemen will visit our K-5 students to teach them fire prevention skills.  Please be sure to talk to your children about your family fire exit plan.

It’s starting to get chilly, don’t forget to send a coat with your child on the chilly days.

We are starting to see some illnesses go through our school.  Please remember a child must remain at home until at least 24 hours after they are free of fever, diarrhea, vomiting, severe cough/cold, or signs of a fever without the use of a fever-reducing medication.

Will You Read With Me?

Approximately 100 caring adult volunteers are needed to read with Creston Community School 1^st graders.

To participate in READS, you need:

A desire to read with 1^st grade students.

A background check. 

A 45 minute training.

St. Malachy slots are filled but we still need volunteers for the Elementary School.

Reading times are available Monday through Thursday,

2:30-3PM.  READS starts the first week in November.

Please pray for Mrs. Biddenback (our school associate)  She will be having surgery on October 11.  We pray for quick healing and strength.
